My Summer 2020

For a student like me, summer is the most amazing and anticipated time of the year. Why? Simply because there is no school, no assignments, no projects, and especially no quizzes and exams! But wait, how are we going to make our summer fun and unforgettable? Here are my interesting experiences during this summer 2020:

Create DIY: I made my own sock puppet. I am sure you can make one too. I love doing arts because it enhances my creativity. Doing arts and crafts are fun! Did you know that art is an activity that almost all kids love to do?

Plant Lover: I did raise a garden bed with my mom and grandmother. I love to grow plants because it helps me get away from stress brought by this pandemic. Besides, I love colorful flowers in plant boxes.

Summer Job: I did a summer job in a business owned by our family. My parents believe that we need to learn how to run a business even at a young age. I work as a cashier/clerk with the supervision of my Nanay Bebe. It was fun because I was able to earn amidst this pandemic. Many lost their jobs but I was lucky to have one.

Indeed, summer is a great opportunity to enjoy quality time with family. Even with COVID-19 disruptions, summer should always be fun, exciting, and unforgettable for children like me.
